Upstream

Ball valves — floating & trunnion

Floating and trunnion ball valves, classes 150–2500 lbs. Carbon steel, stainless, duplex, super-duplex, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy. DBB, metal-to-metal seats. API 6D, API 607 fire-safe, NACE.

Plug valves

Lubricated and non-lubricated plug valves for viscous, abrasive and high-temperature services. Available in carbon steel and special alloys.

Forged fittings and flanges

Forged fittings ASME B16.11 (3000–9000 lbs) and flanges ASME B16.5 in A105, A182 F304/F316, A182 F51/F53, A350 LF2. Weld Neck, Slip-On, Blind, RTJ.

Seamless piping

Seamless pipes ASTM A106 Gr.B (high temp), A333 Gr.6 (low temp), A312 (stainless). Full traceability with 3.1/3.2 MTR certificates.

Actuators & gaskets

ATEX-certified pneumatic actuators, spiral wound gaskets, ring joint gaskets for high-pressure sealing. Complete valve+actuator assemblies.

NACE and sour service

Components compliant with NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 for H₂S-containing (sour) environments. Hardness ≤ 22 HRC, special heat treatments, HIC/SSC resistance.

What certifications are required for Oil and Gas components?
Key certifications: API 6D and API 6A for pipeline and wellhead valves; API 607 for fire-safe resistance; ASME B16.34 and B16.5 for valves and flanges; PED 2014/68/EU for pressure equipment; ATEX 2014/34/EU for explosive zones; NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 for sour service materials (H₂S); SIL for safety instrumented systems. Roffia supplies components certified to all these standards.
What is the difference between class 150 and class 300 flanges?
ANSI/ASME classes indicate maximum allowable pressure at ambient temperature: class 150 handles approximately 20 bar, class 300 approximately 50 bar (values decrease with temperature). Class 150 is sufficient for most low-pressure applications. For high-pressure/temperature Oil & Gas services, class 300, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500 are used. Bolt patterns are different and not interchangeable between classes.

What is the difference between floating and trunnion ball valves?
In floating ball valves, the ball is supported by the seats and "floats" under pressure: ideal up to class 600 and sizes ≤ 8". In trunnion valves, the ball is fixed on upper and lower pins, with lower operating torque: suitable for classes up to 2500 lbs and large diameters, with DBB (Double Block & Bleed) functionality.
What is sour service (NACE)?
Sour service indicates the presence of hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) in the process fluid. Materials must comply with NACE MR0175/ISO 15156: maximum hardness ≤ 22 HRC, specific heat treatments, qualified welding. Non-compliant materials risk brittle failure from Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC).
